Greetings from Paradox Lake…

It's been a while and things have been pretty quiet at Paradox. February saw almost daily small snowfalls till the snow pack and icicles got pretty tall! Then in the last week of the month we had a thaw and things started to melt. March roared in like a lion with a fierce windstorm on the 1st that fortunately didn't seem to knock out power on the lake, but dropped temps into single digits again. And now it's warming up again.

In an effort to serve you better, the Communications committee is conducting a survey on our various ways of staying in touch. It should only take a few minutes of your time, and we'd love to hear from you.

The PLA Board has decided to renew Aqualogic's contract for this summer to continue the work on invasives mitigation. More on that later.

 Finally, the Schroon Lake Annual Ice Fishing Derby is this Saturday, March 6.
