From Diane Clarke on the Fundraising Committee: We need to continue to raise funds for the our fight against milfoil, which threatens our enjoyment of Paradox Lake: swimming, water skiing, boating, paddling and fishing. What would it be like if we didn't join together to stave off milfoil? We might have to mow the lake! Deteriorating water quality and boat propellers tangled in dense mats of "weeds" result. If we sit back and remain uninvolved, what will our children and grandchildren have? I have felt the passion and pride of the Paradox Lake volunteers marking, pulling and diving to squelch the spread of this invasive species, (EWM). The behind the scenes volunteer's hard work, and all the research of the PLA Board deserves to be supported by all of us! Other residents and visitors too, can help in many other smaller ways! We cannot all dive or paddle and pull. I do hope we can build our community of new and old friends, and find many small ways we can band together for a common purpose which will live on after us. I am asking for a little help this year from every Paradox family. One way that can happen is this: Please look at the attached list of family-built, family-friendly baskets to create yourselves and donate to the cause that we will ALL benefit from. I will be happy to coordinate this with Ryan's technical on-line help. I will be the contact person via email.

I will need a detailed description, later, hopefully a picture of each basket for Ryan to post for others to see what they wish to bid on. Make a basket you would enjoy winning yourself ! I need a team with me ! I think the family involvement will generate pride and teamwork. However, if you do have a big ticket item you can put in the mix, wonderful!!
