'Tis the Season

The lake is frozen, with fishermen and a snowmobile or 2 already enjoying the ice! We have been gifted with incredible sunrises and sunsets and reached an unseasonably warm 51 degree day this week.

The loons have left the lake, fortunately, and were spotted last week on Schroon Lake near the outlet, but are no longer there. We hope they are happily making their way to warmer, saltier waters!

Calendars and Photo Contest

In anticipation of our 2021 calendar, we’re having a photo contest to fill it with beautiful, seasonal, artwork.  Please share your favorite photos from Paradox Lake on the Paradox Lake Facebook Page or by sending them to paradoxlakeassociation@gmail.com. 

New Communication Medium - Google Groups

We’re about to launch a new way to communicate with other Paradox Lakers using Google Groups.  This will replace the yahoo group many of us have been using. It is intended to share information on things such as lost and found items, wildlife sightings and lake conditions. 

We hope it will work as well, if not better than Yahoo, which is no longer supporting its groups. While it is working now, it may no longer work in the future.
