Evan and his wife Debra finally bought a cabin of their own at the Glen Reay Beach Association in 2006 after 14 years of renting the “chalet with the big rock” opposite the inlet stream and camping at the campground on the upper lake. As a child and teen, Evan spent the summers of his youth at JOJOEL on the lower lake in the late 1960’s to 1970.
Evan works at his environmental consulting firm in Connecticut but enjoys the luxury of working remotely from his children and grandchildren’s homes in Boston and DC and from Paradox.
Evan has a lifelong love for the lake and as a PLA Director is committed to helping keep the lake pristine, largely unchanged and “magical”. When at the lake, Evan enjoys sailing his wooden boat or Sunfish, flying his RC model float plane on the lake and exploring other parts of the Park.
Director, Upper Lake Term expires 2028
